Your 2024 ADHD Wrapped 🎉
YOU DID IT!

Welcome back to ADHDfounder! It’s the end of the year. Take a deep breath.
If you walked into 2024 with big plans and ended the year not quite where you wanted to be, that’s okay. It’s the curse of ADHD high-achievers: big dreams, bigger to-do lists, and a brain that doesn’t always cooperate.
But you’re still here. Still learning, still trying, still figuring it out! đź§
As you wrap up the year, think about what worked (keep) and what didn’t work (ditch) for you. Here’s mine:

What will you keep and ditch in the new year?
Progress doesn’t come from perfection—it comes from reflection.
For me, this year has been about gratitude. I’ve started to understand my brain better, to work with it instead of against it. And I’ve found so much value in connecting with others who know what it’s like to live in this beautifully messy headspace.
If there’s one thing I’m grateful for, it’s this community. Thank you for being a part of my journey.

From brain spaghetti to clarity: Mind-mapping
I made this using ChatGPT 🤓
If you’ve ever had five brilliant ideas during your morning coffee only to forget all of them by lunch, you know the heartbreak of ADHD creativity.
Enter Mind-mapping: mind mapping is a process that lets you capture your brain’s chaos and turn it into actionable plans.
Why it works:
Brain-dump it all: Start with a blank map and let your ideas flow.
Visual clarity: ADHD brains thrive on seeing connections.
Hyperfocus-friendly: Zero in on one part of your map without losing the big picture.
Pro tip: Use it for brainstorming your next project or untangling a particularly overwhelming to-do list. Don’t worry about perfection!

From 'problem child' to mogul: Paris Hilton’s ADHD story

AP News
Paris Hilton isn’t just the reality TV star who “invented being famous.”
She’s a savvy media mogul who recently opened up about her ADHD diagnosis. In an interview, Paris called ADHD her “superpower” and shared how it shaped her life—challenges and all.
The challenges of school life 🏫 Paris was labeled a “problem child.” Too talkative, too energetic, too distracted—to the point that she was sent off to a facility for troubled teens. It wasn’t until later when she received her diagnosis that it all started to click. Paris began to live by her own rules.
Focusing on what matters (to her): One of Paris’s biggest strengths is her ability to hyperfocus when she’s engaged.
This focus helped her build her fragrance empire, become a mother of two, design clothing lines, and dive into philanthropic work.
ADHDers know this well: when you care about something, you can outwork and outthink just about anyone.
Embracing ADHD as a strength 💪 Rather than trying to mask her ADHD, Paris leans into it. She calls it her “superpower” and credits it with giving her the creativity and energy to juggle her ventures.

That’s a wrap! ADHD can feel like a storm some days, but when you zoom out, there’s so much to be grateful for 🫶
Made it this far? Here’s your small win for today: 🏆
See you next year!
